This will give you guys some ideas and inspirations to create your own healthy dishes

healthy turkey burger

 

for the patty

1 lbs lean ground turkey

1 medium onion shredded (i used food processor)

1 garlic clove (garlic press/ticed tiny)

1 egg

1 hand full parsley

1/2 teasp cumin

1 tabsp dried dill

salt, pepper

 

bread 

whole wheat sandwich rounds

 

for the patty, mix everything in a bowl. add about a tablespoon olive oil / canola oil in a deep pan (if you have one, if not it`s not so bad) preheat to a medium level. then form 4 inch wide patties and bake them.

 

I topped my burgers with some mustard, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and pickles 

 

aaaaand bon appetite!

yummy meatballs

 

for the meatballs

1 lbs lean ground turkey

1 large onion chredded

1 big garlic clove shredded

1 teasp salt, pepper each

1/2 teasp cumin

1 tabsp smoked paprika spice

 

for the tomato sauce

2 regular size cans tomato sauce

1 large onion diced

1 garlic clove diced

1 tabsp tomato paste

1-2 tabsp honey (to balance the sourness of the tomato sauce)

1 teasp cumin

hand full parsley

1 tabsp basil

a pinch of oregano (only a pinch)

salt, pepper to taste

1 cup water

 

 

Mix up all ingredients for the meatballs.

For the sauce, bake onion with 1 tabsp of olive oil or canola oil untill golden. Add tomato paste and cook for about 4 minutes on low (keep stirring). Add tomato sauce, water, garlic, cumin, parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Stirr everything up and add 1 tabsp honey. Again stirr up well and taste it. If still to sour add one more tabsp. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat. Form 2 inches balls from the meat and place in the sauce. Cook on low heat for about 40-50 minutes.

 

You can eat them with either whole wheat pasta, brown rice or even wrap them up with some whole wheat wraps. Top it with none fat plain greek yogurt.

 

voilà!! *happyface* dinner is served!! 

protein pancakes

 

7 eggs

4 bananas

1 teasp vanilla extract

3 scoops herbalife formula1

1/4 cup whole wheat flour

 

Add all ingredients to a blender and bled it up. Put 1 tablespoon of olive/canola oil in the pan and bake the pancakes. 

This recipe is about 4 servings, so I know they are yummy, but you have to watch the portion that you eat. These pancakes are very rich.
